Hi all,

I have ASA 5512X and I'm trying to run CX features on it. but the problem is I don't have SSD drive in the chassis. how can I get one? is any kind of SSD drive compatible with cisco ASA-CX firewalls or i should order it from cisco only? what is the part number for that model?

thanks in advance for your help

Hi Farhan,

the part number that you shared is for the feature subscription only. which means it does not cover the hardware.

so if you want to order the hardware as well, you need to choose a part number from the datasheet for the hardware

(Example: ASA5512-SSD120-K9 ) and then you need to order the subscription part number ASA5512AWI1Y. and that will cover every thing (hardware + 1 year subscription)
