    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt; First, can you confirm you are using a console cable to connect to the asa?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only way to reset the enable password is to get into ROMMON mode, and you have to be connected using a serial connection to see the asa boot up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should hit the "ESC" key when the countdown starts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt; I have cisco pix 520 Firewall and I forgot my firewall password but now I want to reset so I have to get into monitor mode but when I press escape key my firewall is not get into monitor mode. so now how can I get into monitor mode or Are there any Other way to reset the firewall....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Or at least confirm that the key works?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
