I want to add new vlan in existing firewall group in 6500. I am confused if it will add new vlan or overwrite.. I am using ASASM module with 6500.

You can just copy the existing firewall group that you already have, PLUS the new vlan that you would like to add.

Eg:

if you have:

firewall vlan-group 50 55-57

and you want to add vlan 60, then you can just type in:

firewall vlan-group 50 55-57, 60

It just adds it, it is not like a trunk so it does not overwrite what is currently there. However I'm on the SX IOS train and although unlikely it might be different on others so test first.

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App
