Hi

I got a question trying to configure a specific user, my customer wants me to configure a vpn user which from 23:00 to 07:00 hours the maximum connection time will be of 34 minutes, I was checking the options but I couldn't find anything, I can configure a the max conneciton time but it will apply in general and not for the time range that I want.

Any ideas?

Regards

Hi,

I think you can only apply a time range when the VPN Client connection for a user will be available (for example the time range mentioned 23:00 to 7:00.

And also the one you mentioned which is the maximum connection time (and idle time) for a user.

There should also be possible to build access rules on the firewall that are time range based. Basically traffic would be allowed only during some time frame.

But from what I gather you would want to limit the total connection time between 23:00 to 7:00 to 34 minutes (NOT 34min max for each connection the user takes during that time range)

- Jouni
