    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have problems with two ASA5505 with software ASA Version 7.2(4)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both have stopped nothing happens when trying to boot up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Power light is green and Status light is solid amber not green.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can two firewalls just be completely dead after three years of use?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nothing happens on the console port when I try to boot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/Lasse&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Lasse,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think an RMA might be required; I have seen on different forums that sometimes customer replace RAM or flash and that solves the problem (this is totally un-offitial and remember that this might violate your SmartNet) but that will point us again to HW failure. If you want you can request an EFA (Enginnering Failure Analisys) to determine why your ASAs failed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At this point since you don't even have console access to the units (since there is no output) I will suggest you to replace the units.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Luis &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
