I just changed to Charter Internet and want to connect my ASA 505 directly to the cable modem. However, when I do, the ASA never gets an IP address.

My outside interface is configured as such:

interface Vlan2
nameif outside
security-level 0
ip address dhcp setroute
!

The strange thing is if I connect my PC or a Linksys router to the cable modem, they both get an address with no problem.
