server's domain name information that it assigns causes problems. NSLOOKUP will resolve a DNS name FQDN but cannot resolve names when pinging by name, or accessing via browser or other means. using VPN 3000 Concentrator Version 3.5.2.Rel which is very old version of the concentrator and it had some issues with dns. I would advise you to go for the newer versions 4.1.7c which is stable.

ASA DNS client

I have configured the following:

dns domain-lookup inside

dns server-group DefaultDNS

name-server 192.168.1.200

domain-name domain.com

However, I am unable to ping by name, or more importantly set up an isakmp key using a domain name. Has anybody set this up on an ASA 7.2?
