We are buying ASA box for IPS and firewalling function. I need to know how it works with firewall and IPS simultaneously. If You have any links for those guides plz forward it to me.

As a starting point I would use the "Cisco Security Appliance Command Line Configuration Guide, Version 7.0"

In there you will find a chapter on "Intercepting and Responding to Network Attacks"

which is about the configuration of the IPS functionality.
