      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have configured lan/state failover with ASA 5520. When testing failover i loose contact in about 20 seconds is this normal?? does anyone know what time to expect, until the connection recover to secodary unit?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/Regards&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Howdy&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have configured stateful failover and it is working correctly you shouldn't loose connectivity at all when failover over from the primary to the standby  , which is prtty much the whole point of stateful failover.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However when failing back from the standby to the primary it would be normal for current connections through the firewall to drop.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
