Two crypto maps on ASA?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to setup two crypto maps on the two interfaces on the same box?

We want to migrate VPNs from ISP-A to B and setup the two ISP on separate interfaces. Question is can we configure two crypto maps on the same box and bind them to the different interfaces?

Thanks,

Raphael

You can make multiple Crypto Maps, but they cannot be assigned to the same interface. So it is definitly possible in your situation!

Please rate if the post helps!

Regards,

Michael

I wanted to use two public interfaces (ISP-1 and ISP-2) then a crypto map for each interface. I think this should be no problem, just wanted to ask before I deploy it.

There is no problem You could go ahead. Also it is just like having seprate policy for that second interface and different crypto map name.

-Hoogen

Do rate helpful posts 🙂
