    <description>&lt;P&gt;There is no such thing as an "ISE subscription".&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There are ISE licenses:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- licenses for a VM (Smartnet optional and strongly recommended but not mandatory, necessary if you want product upgrade rights and TAC support)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Base and Device Admin licenses (perpetual licenses, no Smartnet required or offered)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Plus and Apex licenses (1, 3 or 5-year terms,&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;no Smartnet required or offered)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There is also Smartnet offered for the hardware appliances. Like the VM, it is&amp;nbsp;strongly recommended but not mandatory&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Smartnet offered for the hardware appliances also covers the ISE software on it ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If it is possible could you please share smartnet part number for&amp;nbsp;SNS-3415-K9&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;hardware appliance and for&amp;nbsp;ISE software (version 2.2) on it&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
