Hi,

i am new in security and i want to licence IPS on CISCO ASA 5515.

please share compete procedure and guides either CLI or GUI

The old style IPS is end of sales. Reference. If you don't already have it on your ASA, you cannot add it.

If you do have it already, here is the Quick Start Guide.

Going forward, we use the FirePOWER module which includes IPS features among others. You should review Cisco Live presentation "BRKSEC-2028 - Deploying Next Generation Firewall with ASA and Firepower Services" (free registration ID required) for a good overview.
