      <title>IPS UPDATE LICENCE ISSUE</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we recently update the contract to get updates for the IPS, but we are getting the attached error message when we try to get the updates with the cisco username and password that contain the contract.&lt;BR /&gt;anybody knows about this error?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Salvador,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This error could be cause of contract not updated completely.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you tried generating the license file manually from cisco.com/go/license and uploading the same on IPS? Please try the same once.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is a way to delete the old license file from the database through root account and then try the new one. For that i would recommend you to open a case with TAC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Akshay Rastogi&lt;/P&gt;</description>
