If you configure your interface as promiscous, then you operate these in "IDS"-mode and the sensor will analyse the traffic but not forward the traffic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To run two interfaces in a way that traffic flows through the sensor, you have to build interface inline pairs and assign this pair to the virtual sensor.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
