    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I just want to ask a question that what could be a common problem in IDSM if it is fail to ping from the configuration session screen. IDSM installed in CISCO 6509 chassis and unable to ping. But Traffic is generating and displaying in CISCO IDSM GUI.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you please help us out how to resolve this case?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;are you using any virtual port?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the ping fails, it means that the connectivity&amp;nbsp; between both mgmt0 interfaces does not exist or that they are not&amp;nbsp; interconnected properly. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; Make sure the mgmt0 interface is unshut and that you can ping the switch mgmt0 interface. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
