    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all... I finally upgraded my RAM to 1gb and I can move on to latest sotware for my asa &lt;SPAN __jive_emoticon_name="happy" __jive_macro_name="emoticon" class="jive_macro jive_emote" src="https://community.cisco.com/4.5.4/images/emoticons/happy.gif"&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Till now, I've been stucked to 8.0.5 , and now I need to upgrade to latest 8.4.3 version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have done a little search, but I want advice from you guys and guru's here &lt;SPAN __jive_emoticon_name="happy" __jive_macro_name="emoticon" class="jive_macro jive_emote" src="https://community.cisco.com/4.5.4/images/emoticons/happy.gif"&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you please tell me the upgrade path ( can I upgrade directly to 8.4.3) , what about current config file (mine is pretty complex) , can I import old config in to the new 8.4.3 software , what about nat statement that has changed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also please have in mind that I have a fallower unit that also need to be upgraded so what about that, is there any complete upggrade guide in detail ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best Regards&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To upgrade from the version 8.0.5 to 8.4.3, you would need to follow this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;8.0.5 --&amp;gt;8.2.5---&amp;gt;8.4.3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you upgrade from the 8.2.5 ---&amp;gt; 8.4.3, the configuraion would be converted automatically, the nat and acl changes would be done itself and you dont need to restore anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;follow this link, this should be helpful to you:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-wiki-small" href="https://community.cisco.com/docs/DOC-12690"&gt;https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-12690&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that helps,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Varun&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
