      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok so here is the scenario.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) create 3 sub-interfaces on a physical interface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) create a VLAN and assign the same VLAN to sub-interfaces.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) create 3 contexts and&amp;nbsp; assign them to sub-interface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately I cannot assign the same VLAN to the 3 sub-interfaces as in step 2).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Therefore I am looking for an alernative solution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks, gordon&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ok I have some alternative solutions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;VLAN bridging.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;seperate VRF.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Use other layer 3 device.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Vmware instance on host server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Add Ethernet module to ASA.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The most cost effective although not standard is to use the management interface and implement VLAN bridging to overcome the conflict in step 2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
