      <title>Memory utilization on PIX 525</title>
      <link>https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-security/memory-utilization-on-pix-525/m-p/885244#M494834</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;Newbie question. We're using a PIX 525 for our main firewall to the internet as well as for remote and site to site VPN to our remote offices and mobile users. Periodically, we see the memory utilization creep up to 50% over the course of a couple of weeks and the traffic takes longer and longer to go through the PIX until it's restarted. Is there a memory leak in 7.22? Any ideas on figuring out what the problem may be? Or would it be better to upgrade the memory? Currently we're running 256 MB. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
