We have a PIX 515 and would like to do content filtering.

Can this be done without using a filter server with as much control as with one?

I need to set up groups and have the groups with differnt content filters.

Is this possible?

Hello Rich,

Content/URL filtering is not possible with PIX. You need to have an external N2H2 or Websense server integrated with PIX. With the new ASA series of boxes, you have an integrated CSC module, which can do URL/content filtering.

Hope this helps.. all the best.. rate replies if found useful..

Raj
