Hi,

I can connect the hyper terminal though break charactar isn't working.I'm trying with ESC and Ctrl-Break.What may be the problem (Keyboard issue i'm guessing,using a dell keyboad,but couldn't arrange alternate one)

Any solutions welcome...

Try another OS or computer or comm port.

I had the same problem, when I was using a IBM T42 thinkpad with USB to Serial cable.

Don't think it is the IBM as I have talk to other cisco engineer using T42. So it must be the cable.

But that is my case. In your case, you may want to try another OS or PC or comm port.

Hi Sourav,

My suggestion is to disable the flow-control setting in hyperterminal. Please let me know if it works.
