Hi people,

is it possible to send unroutable protocol traffic through pix?

i mean application that does broadcast to detect server.

Yes, it is very much possible. for example, if IP phones are inside and CCM is on outside. as soon as IP phones boots it sends a DHCP request to get an IP with source IP as 0.0.0.0 and dest as 255.255.255.255.

we need to put option :

dhcpd option code

i believe it works when u make pix inside interface as DHCP server for your clients. but u can cehck.
