PIX 506e static routes

hi,

I have PIX 506e running 6.3(1) i'm unfamiliar the pix and it's CLI. I want to add static routes for two internal networks.

172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0

10.200.0.0 255.255.0.0

Can anyone give me an idea of what the command line for this is.

I would really like to get to grips with this pix. So if anyone could give me a good place to start with the configuration and feature set etc i'd be really grateful.

Johnny,

In config mode on your pix:

route inside 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0

route inside 10.200.0.0 255.255.0.0

I presume that your next hop ip is an internal router?

Thanks alot, yes indeed the the outside interface of the pix connects to the inside Int of our router. That would be the next hop, right?

Is there anything i need to think about re:the router for these routes?
