    <description>&lt;P&gt;We have a pix 520 and I need to use the password recovery procedure, while looking at the doc it mentions about a  null modem cable with RJ45 connectors, this is not a rollover cable? is their another cable I can use? also i used the PIX With a Floppy Drive but I'm sure if it copied to the floppy.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can try doing password recovery procedure which can also be done without using floppy drive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just connect the console of your wkstation to the PIX firewall use the standard break key after powering on the pix box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You need to connect the PIX and your workstation where you have the np*.bin file downloaded.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*.bin file depends upon the PIX os code which you are currently running in ur box..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;once you are thru with the connectivity between the wkstation and the pix firewall you can download the .bin and start following the procedures mentioned in the below link...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_password_recovery09186a008009478b.shtml#pix_without" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_password_recovery09186a008009478b.shtml#pix_without&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regds&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
