Dear ALL,

I have an old PIX 520 with these details :

Version 5.1 (4)

Finesse Bios V3.3

Hardware: AL440LX, 32 MB RAM, CPU Pentium II 266 Mhz

BIOS Flash AM28F256

Licensed Features:

Failover: Enabled

VPN-DES Enabled

VPN-3DES Disabled

Serial Number xxxxxxxx

Activation Key yyyyyyyy

I tried a sw upgrade to 6.2 version, but after installing new software PIX wasn't able to boot anymore.

So, I inserted floppy containing 4.3.2 version (when was shipped) but PIX still is not able to boot, and I get an error

like "Not Authorized To Run On This Hardware!"

Why? Since PIX was shipped, no one has changed authorization key so why seem to be not valid ?

What can I do to still use that PIX ?

 Regards Alberto Brivio
