    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There could be 2 reasons for this :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the speed/duplex setting on the switch.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Most of the time, its a faulty cable issue.  Please ensure that the cable is good.  &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I put my bet on the 2nd point. If you are connecting the pix directly to the PC, do use cross cable.  Also int 1 means 2nd interface of the Pix.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when we trying to upgrade our pix software from 6.2(3) to 6.2(5) using monitor mode &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we are facing the following problem &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;monitor&amp;gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;monitor&amp;gt; int 1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;0: i8255X @ PCI(bus:0 dev:5  irq:12)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1: i8255X @ PCI(bus:0 dev:3  irq:255)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2: i8255X @ PCI(bus:0 dev:2  irq:255)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3: i8255X @ PCI(bus:0 dev:1  irq:12)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ethernet auto negotiation timed out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ethernet port 1 could not be initialized.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;monitor&amp;gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can anybody have idea about this problem&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nataraj&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have the version 6.2(3) you can upgrade you iso using the config mode instead of the monitor mode&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;use the command&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;copy tftp flash&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
