    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think PIX will not check it as you can always change the protocol number to any ununsed number as desired. This is done using 'fixup' command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 'monitor-interface &lt;INTERFACE name=""&gt;' if used to monitor the interface for failover purposes.&lt;/INTERFACE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rgds,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AK&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to know if PIX is checking compability protocol (likeTFTP) with RFC,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and if packet is malformed it can be treated like atack? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have aplication that is modyfing tftp packet and pix is not sending them! &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I switch it off it'll help??: &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no monitor-interface outside&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no monitor-interface inside&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;THX &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Laptom&lt;/P&gt;</description>
