I have a IP pbx system which is sitting behind my asa 5510 firewall. When I vpn to my pbx network through many different internet lines using remote access vpn my softphone(software version on ip phone running on my pc) could not access the pbx system through vpn. My network monitoring shows the error "status 401 unauthorized (0 bindings)” when the softphone tries to login. I am able to ping to my pbx. However if i vpn through a particular internet line which is using a asa5510 as firewall my softphone could login to the pbx without any problems.
