    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;pls note that the logging standby command lets the failover standby unit send syslog messages.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can specify syslog host,facility and level by below commands :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;logging host [in_if_name] ip_address [protocol /port]&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;logging facility  (default is 20 :: LOCAL4)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;logging trap level (Set logging level only for syslog messages)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;0&amp;#151;emergencies&amp;#151;System unusable messages&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1&amp;#151;alerts&amp;#151;Take immediate action&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2&amp;#151;critical&amp;#151;Critical condition&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3&amp;#151;errors&amp;#151;Error message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4&amp;#151;warnings&amp;#151;Warning message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5&amp;#151;notifications&amp;#151;Normal but significant condition&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6&amp;#151;informational&amp;#151;Information message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;7&amp;#151;debugging&amp;#151;Debug messages and log FTP commands and WWW URLs&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>logging to syslog from PIX</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Anyone can explain why I have two lines in syslog for every connection build or teardown?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;syslog server is Kiwi and I disabled logging standby.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank in advance. Alex M.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
