Good URL Logging/Blocking software? PIX 501

I've been told the 501 will not log web use or allow websites to be blocked? I can see the logging being an issue, but I thought I'd be able to block out sites by IP or URL.

If not, can anyone offer me some good third party programs for Internet management?

you can just block sites by ip address but if you need more than this you must use third party software.

the pix support websense and N2H2 (like SmartFilter) protocols to filter/log http traffics.
