Hi,

I needed to change the mask, not the ip address, of the outside interface of an 5510 running 8.2(3).

Immediately afterwards I could establish ASDM but could not re-establish SSH.

I tried the following:

Zeroize the rsa key and generate a new one

Create a new SecureCRT session to accept the new key

That didn't work. All I have is ASDM access.

Any other things I might try other than rebooting?

Also try reloading the firewall, there have been few issues with SSH in ASA 8.2.3.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Varun
