    <description>&lt;P&gt;Need some help, I have an ASA5585-SSP-IPS20 module that I can't get to be Up/Up.&amp;nbsp; I've tried resetting the blade a few times and also rebooted the firewall - but no luck:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; slot 1: ASA5585-SSP-IPS20 hw/sw rev (2.0/) status (Unresponsive/Up)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions on what to try next?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt; Re-seat it [it's hot-swapable].&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can also try to blow the backblane of the module using compressed air....or lungs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that doesn't work, re-image it [custom config will be lost]&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi jocamare - we have also a set of asa5585'rs with these ips modules - and here we among other ports have a set of 10G ports which are in use - if we ever need re-seat these we would get some problems. What about the all the ports there when the ips module reboots - will they be un-affected or what?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;best regards ti&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It will be necessary to re-seat/reimage only the affected module, not all of them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you might know, these are "independent" units, if take one down the rest of the modules will remain up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the IPS module goes down only the directly connected ports will be affected, the rest of the unit and the other modules will remain the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
