Hi, Martin

PDM does not work with 7.0.1. It was replaced with ASDM (Adaptive Security Device Manager). Go ahead and download it from CCO (asdm-501.bin); I think the 'copy tftp flash:asdm' command will work from the configuration mode. When you're done, make sure that you also enter the command 'asdm image flash:/asdm-501.bin' in order for the ASDM to load properly.

Hope that helps!

Federico Rodriguez

Thanks for pointing that out.

I have been able to install asdm. But have trouble trying to execute the asdm command, this seems to be the only available option under the privileged rights.

adcisco# asdm ?

disconnect Specify ASDM session id to be disconnected after this keyword

This message is returned when trying to execute the command you suggested. It is the same instruction as in the asdm manual.

radcisco# asdm image flash:/asdm-501.bin

               ^

ERROR: % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
