MS PPTP dialin could not access network behind Cisco PIX

Hi! Good day to everyone.

I have recently installed a Cisco PIX firewall and for firewalling purposes now wants to configure a client VPN connection from the outside using MS PPTP. The configurations for the client VPN are ok as I double checked it. As we test the client connection through the firewall, the outside client receives an IP on the local pool I have created and the "show vpdn tunnels state" it give a connected status.

I tried to ping any IP but hences no reply was received. Are there any Microsoft configs that are need to be done or measures to be done?

Chris,

You need to add: fixup protocol pptp 1723 - in config mode, and save with write mem, also issue clear xlate.
