      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are experincing a probelm with accessing our FTP server wich located behind PIX firewall from the internal network by its public IP while it's accessable from the external network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried the alias command but it didn't work...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your help is higly appreiciated..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hello abaghir,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope you are doing a nat for the ftp server to be visible on the public IP outside.. right ? or does the server have a public IP itself assigned to it..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it is a natted IP, you cannot access the server through its public IP from inside. The public IP will not be visible from inside. from external network, you can see the server on its public IP. From inside, you can only ftp to the server on its private IP. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope this helps.. all the best..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Raj&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
