We have a PIX running 6.3(4) beign used for terminating PPTP and IPSec connections. Today it just stopped accepting any PPTP connection. All other functions were working fine including Cisco IPSec Client, NAT etc

From a Packet Capture, PIX was receiving packets on TCP 1723 but was never replying back as below.

+++++++++++++++

ir-firewall# show capture test

3 packets captured

17:17:36.903121 x.x.x.x.x > ir-firewall.1723: S 1386941213:1386941213(0) win 8760 <mss 1460,nop,nop,sackOK>

17:17:39.849000 x.x.x.x.x > ir-firewall.1723: S 1386941213:1386941213(0) win 8760 <mss 1460,nop,nop,sackOK>

++++++++++++++++++++

A Reboot fixed this problem. Has anyone else experienced the same with 6.3(4) version ?

Regards \\ Naman
