asa csc doubt continues ...

can some one help me with the follwing

i have ASA5510-CSC10-K9 , does this product has failover license .??

i have seen ASA 5510 SEC + bundle do have failover license . but if i order for ASA5510-CSC10-K9 do i have to ask for failover license seprately ?

All i need is part no of asa + csc card + failover license

plz help

I do not believe there is one that bundles ASA5510 with Security Plus license as well as the CSC module.

You would need to order it separately as follows:

Option 1:

ASA5510-CSC10-K9 and ASA5510-SEC-PL=

(this is ASA5510 with the CSC10 module bundle, and the Security Plus license)

Option 2:

ASA5510-SEC-BUN-K9 and ASA-SSM-CSC-10-K9

(this is ASA5510 Security Plus bundle, and the CSC-10 module)

From the product data sheet, you can see the differences between the bundles. If ASA5510-CSC10-K9 had failover then I think Cisco would have it in the description. Although they did seem to leave out the 3DES/AES license (implicit by virtue of the K9 designation)...

To be on the safe side, since you mention that you already have the ASA5510-CSC10-K9 - why don't you boot it up, enter 'sho ver' from the command line and make sure that the failover feature is not enabled before you order SEC+.
