PIX Password Recovery problem

HI Guy,

i have one PIX 515 firewall appliance, it's already used. but i don;t have the password. i tried to recovery the password throu console.

my pix interface's are not getting initialize.

i have pasted the copy of error message

if i press the key break says " Ethernet port 1 could not be initialized as mentioned in the error.

i tried with other ports. but i couldn't

any other way to recover password ?

good suggestion will be appreciated.

Do you have a cable connected to one of the ethernet ports when you start the PIX? I've noticed that the eth port will not initialize unless they're connected to something.
