url filtering

Hi all

i have a 5505 connected to internet

i want to do basic url filtering such as preventing access to you tube. etc

i know about websense , but i want to statically configure url filtering for 15 - 20 url's

let me know on performance impact on 5505 also

Hi, You achieve this via HTTP inspection. See below two useful guides:

Be aware that the ASA won't inspect HTTPS traffic. Therefore it will block http://www.facebook.com but not https://www.facebook.com/

In terms of performance HTTP inspection will introduce latency when broswing the web. See below
