can you post your FWSM configuration and let us know which vlan AP and controller are located respectively?

How HP AP and controller communicates with each other?

If you already "permit any any" on the interface, I would check if nat-control is enabled on FWSM. If yes, you might need nat entry for the traffic to pass through the FWSM.

Hello,

i have a FWSM that hosts three vlan interfaces: one between the MSFC and FWSM, one for HP wireless controller and one for wireless access-points.

i am facing a problem in the communication between the wireless contoller and the access-point, where the contoller is not discovering the access-point

although i "permit ip any any" on all interfaces.

when the access-point and the controller are on the same vlan (vlan interface on the FWSM)everything works fine.

anybody has faced this problem before ?

Regards,

George
