      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the Sensor drops for several hours what is the risk that would be involved. Same with if the signatures do not update what is the risk.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Toni, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Well, the IPS wont detect any threats on the network if the analysis engine is down. If the signatures are not updated, the risk would be with new attacks that are not being detected because of the signature database that the IPS currently has. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mike &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
