      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; I've just set-up two PIX525 firewalls with stateful failover and they &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; seam to be working correctly except that I am get the message..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; Warning, missing ip or failover address on the inside interface&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; The inside interface has an ip address and I don't want to use it for &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; failover, so why am I getting this message?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; I'm running 6.3.4&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when you configure failover, you have to assign each interfacean ip @,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when you dont assign an ip @ to a failover interface, the pix keeps showing waning message. it assumes that there is an error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so you have to give each interface of your failover pix an ip @&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;failover ip inside whatever...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope this help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
