If the Oracle server is responding from a source port of 8006 it should work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Turn on logging:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;logging buffered debug&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;logging on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and try the connection again, the 'show log' this should give you some information on what is happening.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>PIX and port 8006</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am running OS 6.4(3) on a PIX 515e, with 64MB RAM.  Windows XP Workstations behind the firewall, Oracle Server in front.  Browser on workstation using port TCP: 8006 cannot hit server.  Does the PIX have any issues with this port?  I know very little about port 8006.  I found a blurb on the internet: SQL Relay server will listen on inet port 8006 and unix socket /tmp/mysqltest.socket. IT IS NOT A REGISTERED PORT!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nick Christofi &lt;/P&gt;</description>
