Hi,

We are using pix firewall and the Smartfilter for URL filtering but the pix always use around 62M RAM.

Any idea about it?

How to optimize configuration for decrease memory?

Regards,

M.Rad

There are a couple of things that you could do to optimize the performance of the PIX such as not logging to the buffer and also minimize the number of access-lists that you have in the configuration.
