VPN not connecting

hello support,

I have configured here remote access VPN, for accessing INSIDE server to remote access purpose.

I had try to connect server through cisco VPN client but its show us in LOG i.e build inbound connection for outside x.x.x.x to INSIDE y.y.y.y

but its not getting connected.

Please share more details like the vpn config at least

Hi,

You need to check if the VPN is established (the tunnel), you can check phase 1 with sh cry isa sa and phase 2 with sh cry ips sa

If the tunnel is established, the next step is to pass traffic through.

To check if there's traffic passing check the encrypted/decrypted settings with sh cry ips sa

If no traffic is flowing through the tunnel, could be that ESP or UDP 4500 is being blocked in the path.

Also there might be a filter preventing VPN traffic.
