    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have 515E PIX &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;inside IP address is 192.168.1.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Outside IP address is 192.168.0.6&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;192.168.0.6 interface attached with my windows machine where i have ISDN connection&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;windows machine IP is 192.168.0.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;192.168.1.1 interface attached with my Linux Machine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Linux Machine IP is 192.168.1.6&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my all Lan users access internet through Linux.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From windows I can ping 192.168.0.6 but not Linux Machine or 192.168.1.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and from Linux machine i just ping 192.168.1.1 not windows machine. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am new user of PIX firewall please tell me how i configured that my linux machine access to my windows machine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see nihal's post in the "Nat 0 Setup Help" thread. To initiate an imcp echo from the outside (linux box), to the inside (windows box), you need a static translation for the destination (windows box), and a permit statement in the acl applied to the outside interface. Perhaps some other device is doing nat to public addresses, since there aren't public ips in the outside of the pix. What is the linux box doing?  What would you like the pix to translate the inside hosts to (they could keep the same ips as they pass through the pix)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
