Hello,

We have an ASA 5510 with AIP, the ASA image version is ASA832-npe-K8 and asdm image version asdm-634-53.

We can't launch asdm-launcher. In java console, we receive the following message.

Local Launcher Version = 1.5.50
Local Launcher Version Display = 1.5(50)
OK button clicked
Trying for ASDM Version file; url = https://192.168.1.1/admin/
Server Version = 6.3(4)53
Server Launcher Version = 1.5.50, size = 453120 bytes
Launcher version checking is successful.

We have doing tests on XP and Win7 with three PC, with java versions (6.22, 5.xx, 3.xx).

But the problem persists.

Someone does a good idea?

This is interesting and looks new. I would suggest opening a TAC case.

Also, plese colelct the "debug http" and try testing opening with the applet option and see if it works.

Yes, I opened a TAC case, but the solution does not seem to happen.

I have the same problem with the portal. I access the portal with the URL https: / / 192.168.1.1. But can not launch startup wizard or the ASDM-launcher. Same problem with other items in XP, Win7, IE7 or IE8, java 6.22.

The end of debug http gives:
