    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a running network and dont want to distrub and change any ip configuration . I want to put cisco asa 5505 between router and lan to filter ip traffic.. how can i achive this ? do i need to change anything.. what is bridge mode firewall .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can configure your ASA in transparent mode so that you can avoid changing your subnets ir routing. Bridge group is a new feature that allows the ASA to take two or more interfaces and link them together in layer 2 and then having a bvi interface.
