      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Experts...........&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a ASA5510, it is currently running 7.0.8. Its RAM and Flash size are 256MB. Could I upgrade from 7.0.8 to 8.x??????&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Which is the stable version in 8.x trail???? Now my plan is to upgrade to 7.2.5... Please upgrade to ASA 7.2.5 and then proceed with upgrade to ASA 8.0.x&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Upgrade Paths:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ASA 7.0.x -&amp;gt; 7.2.x(7.2.5) -&amp;gt; 8.0x -&amp;gt; 8.2.x &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can directly upgrade to ASA 8.4 from ASA 7.0.x&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;FYI: Post ASA 8.3 the memory requirements and NAT style is different.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps.
