ASDM Traffic Status Window

we recently installed a new fiber internet connection to our ASA 5510.

we installed it to Ethernet 0/2 and labelled it "fiber" since "outside" (Ethernet 0/0) was already in use from our other internet circuit.

my problem is in ASDM, on the device dashboard, there is a screen called Traffic Status.

this screen only shows me "outside" Interface Traffic Usage, which is now null since we are routing everything through the 'fiber' port.

is there a way to modify the ASDM Traffic Status screen to show me 'fiber' Interface traffic usage, so I can really see what is going on?

The way ASDM is showing the old 'outside' interface, it's basically useless.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Lee,

Since the usage statistics will be displayed for the lowest security interface this is expected.

I set this up in the lab and see that same thing, if you change the security level of E0/0 or remove the nameif statement does that help?

Thanks,

Loren
