Hi!

Is it possible to configure the PIX in order to block users from downloading files from the Internet?

I mean, I want to allow them to browse the web but no to download any files!

Thanks!

Yes, it has a URL filtering option, but you must use websense or a couple other filter servers to use this feature. The PIX will validate the URL (which can include the extensions of downloadable files such as .exe, .zip, etc) with the filter server.
